East London Hockey Club, based in Mile End in East London. We currently have four ladies, six men’s teams and one mixed side that compete in the East and Essex Hockey Leagues playing matches in London and the South East. We are a rapidly expanding sports and social club and we welcome any person who would like to join as a player or volunteer. North London Wildcats has recently been rebranded as ‘Fierce Athletics’. North London Wildcats was started in 2005. Over the years we grew from strength to strength starting with just 15 girls, by 2012 we had approx 110 athletes in 5 teams. This year we decided that the programme needed to evolve to allow us to work in other areas and keep the success of the team growing. Fierce Athletics was born, bigger and better with the same passion but ...even more fierce! We hope you will be as excited as we are about our new venture.

London GD Handball Club, previously known as Great Dane Handball Club was founded in 1976, and is one of the longest standing and most successful handball clubs in the UK, in both men and women! In 2010, our ladies team made history by becoming the first UK team to win a game in a EHF European Cup Competition, the Challenge Cup. In 2011, our men's team made further history by becoming the first UK team ever to go through to round 3 of the Challenge Cup after winning all their round 2 games and this season entered the new EHF Cup for first time in English history (playing against a historic club like Kolding in Denmark!). We currently train in east London, our training venues are spread in three locations: primarily Bethnal Green Academy where we tend to play our home games, Leyton SCORE centre and UEL SportsDock. Balham Volleyball club was formed at the beginning of the 2009/2010 season by a few guys who met when Putney volleyball club temporarily had a team based in Balham during the 2008/2009 season. We enjoyed a successful first season, with the "Balham Bears" finishing fourth of ten in men's division 2 of the London league, a single set behind the team in third. This was good enough to secure promotion to division 1 for the 2010/2011 season. Unfortunately, without a coach, we didn't fare very well and were relegated. We found ourselves a coach and a few new players for 2011/2012, which resulted in a second place finish and promotion back to div 1 for 2012/13..

Based in South East London, the Beckenham Water Polo team provides competitive water polo for men, women and junior members. The men's team currently compete in the London League Premier Division, the London Winter League and the Kent League.

Aikido clubs who follow the teaching of Kenji Tomiki. He founded our system of Aikido by creating a way for his students to test their skills against each other using randori or ‘free practice’ so that they could keep the techniques ‘real’ and effective. We hold Aikido classes in Beckenham, Bromley, Dartford, Greenwich, Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge. If you are interested then please come along to our next Aikido class! It’s the best way to find out what Shodokan Aikido is all about. At the very least, come and watch - Beginners always welcome. Sessions range from £6.50 to £8.50.
